My quilt was not chosen as a winner. But check her site for all the beautiful quilts that were chosen.

A book is still a great prize!

Your quilt is awesome. Looks like she went with a certain harmonious outdoor theme for the final winners. They are all stunning. Congrats! I have one of her books and am an avid leah fan.

Yes, I am not totally disappointed in not being a winner. The book is a wonderful consolation prize. I think she had no idea what people would enter when she announced the contest, but then with so many finalists that were similar to her sample piece, I think she decided to go with those, and the colors all go really well too. Her sample was a tree with caterpillar, new leaf and butterfly. It will fit perfectly in the middle of the quilt with all the winners. See the empty spot in the middle - room for a portrait orientation quilt? I was just thoroughly amazed to have made the finalists! And it was so good to push me beyond my capabilities. It has really enthused me.
