I need to put letters on a quilt that will be 3' by 4' . How do you design or find letters to use on your quilts? I am not talking color but size and shape. Thanks for all your help!

Many years ago I made my 3 year old wooden letters to help him learn to read. I went to a stationary shop and bought templates for 5 inch high letters. I simply used them as templates and they worked nicely. Seems to me that they should still be sold. They had several different sizes.
Numbers were available as were different shapes, circles, triangles, squares, half moons, etc.
Now they probably have all that online, never thought of that at first, but should have.

When I needed patterns for letters, my daughter suggested I go to the fonts on my computer, choose the one I like & then enlarge them. They weren't very big, though--just about 2". But it worked for me.

Go through find a font you like follow the instructions to install it on your computer then open a word program and write what you want. then change the size of the font (you can highlight and type in a larger number into the size box) to however big you need it 600 is going to give you about a 5.5 inch letter, print it out and use your favorite method of applique! I have used font size in the 900s before which are HUGE!
