In lieu of supreme slider
|
I've got something similar, but I believe thinner. I saw one of these at our local kitchen shop and thought it was too cushioned (and thick) for use as a slider. The product I bought was at wallmart and is paper thin. I tape it to the edges of my extension table and works really well. Bigger than the supreme slider and lots cheaper - I got it on sale!

Do you remember what it was called that you bought?

That one is much cheaper, it might work well. I've been meaning to check the dollar store. |
Ooooo or this! It's Teflon!

hi...I bought a sheet of really cheap non stick oven liner...again mine is quite thin and very flexible. I cut a tiny hole for the needle and I tape it to my extension table...it works brilliantly.
A few weeks ago I bought a Super Slider thinking it would be better....have used it a couple of times and have put it away....I much prefer my non stick oven liner...much bigger and the fabric moves much easier on it. I would try and get the beige colour over the black as much kinder on the eyes. Here in the UK most kitchen shops and garden centres sell it...Good luck with finding it. |
Thank you so much!

Check out my post about using the slippery backing that you discard when using contact paper: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...g-t184335.html

I think the one you have the link for is STICKY. What I use is a non-stick oven mat like this: http://www.amazon.com/Stanco-Non-Sti...3667681&sr=1-4

I tried the supreme slider. It wasn't all that...
