The other day I saw many beautiful versions of the same log cabin blocks that a member posted, just by changing the direction of the blocks.

If anyone knows what I'm speaking of, can you post a link to that topic. I've already attempted going back in my history, checking my posts, and scrolling down in recent topics to no avail.

I think it was this one. (btw - found it by browsing through the Pictures section)

2 ways to get to a list of all of the Sections of the QB. Go to the top of this page, click on "home" or a bit below & to the left of that in bigger type "Quilting Forum". Actually right now for your thread it reads "Quilting Forum -> Main" because you started your thread in the Main Section.

Hope this helps for lots of fun browsing in the future :)

Don't be, get one of Eleanor Burns quilt in a day log cabin books, she teaches it so simple. You can do it!

QuiltnCowgirl 10-21-2011 12:12 PM

They are simple! Get a book, like the one raedar63 suggested. Also - I draw my square out on graph paper & color it using coloring pencils or crayons. (Old fashioned version of EQ7) :D) Doing this helps me keep it straight in my head of which fabric is used where.
