Morning, i am relatively new..I am from SE MI, my name is Deanna, am in my 70's. I am on a mission to finish my UFO quilts. I think the reason I have so many tops is that I hate to machine quilt them, too difficult to squeeze them into the small opening to the right of the needle. What is the average charge to have a LAQ do these?
Cheers!

if you go to our classifieds section there is a listing of QB longarmers, you can contact individuals for more info if you are interested in any of us, there are sooo many factors to consider, nobody can just say "oh the price for that size is ----"
you have to ask/answer questions to get a good answer on the price question
good luck

Hello Deanna, and welcome from Nevada!

Welcome from Colorado. I think you will find that the price depends on the part of the country the LA quilter is in, and the type of quilting you want done. Generally, the more custom the quilting, the pricier.

Thanks, I saw your post on how much to charge for the family tree quilt....,beautiful, by the way....and I had to search on how to post my question...lol...
Thanks for posting your prices. I just have to get ready (backing, batting, binding) to ship to someone. I have had it with my meager ability to machine quilt all of these!

you might want to consider checking with your local quilt guild i'm sure they have many local women who can quilt these at a good price.

I have the same problem; my equipment doesn't handle it well. I chose a person close to me whose worked I really liked and she is reasonable. Good luck in finding someone you can work with. Welcome to this board and enjoy yourself.
