I am wondering what software is used to digitize patterns for the computerized longarm machines. Is there one program for doing the digitizing for several formats?

You need to check with the manufacturer of the computerized system. I use the Handi Quilter Pro Stitcher and the software that comes with it is Quilt Cad by Cabin Logic.

Thanks so much for your reply...I looked around quite a bit today and couldn't figure it out, then right after posting here I found a program called Art and Stitch which will save in various formats, as well as for embroidery machines. It looks like there may be another one called Pre-Design.

New to Longarm quilting and trying to find some patterns free. I tried this website and said it was not available. Our internet has been strange lately so not sure if it's that or really not available. i need help finding free digitized longarm quilting patterns, especially if there is an alphabet one available . I am awful at surfing the internet so be patient with me. thanks gail
