I'm on a quest to transform some of my stash into charity quilts but I'm a piecer, not a quilter so I'm looking into possibilities to rent a computerized longarm by the hour to complete my baby- and lapquilts a little quicker and cheaper than having someone else quilt them for me. I live in Seattle, WA and would prefer something not too far away. Any tips are welcome!

good luck
most of the people i know with statler stitchers (the computerized part) do not rent out their set up- or let anyone touch it- since it is as expensive as buying a really nice new car! or a mortgage. most of the long-arm machines i've seen that time can be rented on are just the machine- with a stitch regulator- if you find someone with a computerized set up offering rent time that would be a person everyone will want to know about! |
