I would like to make a baby quilt in this pattern, now I can not locate the tutorial for this. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Have to get busy sewing this quilt, the baby is due in a month and you never know she could be early. Thanks.

How about trying a search ... Google and/or the search function at the top of this page both will give you what you want!

I am not sure how wide to cut the stips this being for a baby quilt, am thinking 3 1/2 inches? This would make around a 9 inch finished block, would work up quickly, I think. Done a fair bit of quilting never done this one, though.

3 1/2 seems small to me... remember, your center square is going to be cut into 4th's, so the small squares will end up 1 1/4 inch square (I think that's right!)... Consider the fabric you are using and the scale of any prints in it also.

You can make them whatever size you want ... the larger the starting blocks, the quicker the project will work up.

Here's one from our board.

I think the size of the block depends on your preference.

The strips will be cut to 3 1/2 inches before I sewed it together, the block size would be 9 inches, I think. I will check out missouri site, they have some good stuff. Thanks.

I like using charm size squares for mine. Fast and easy way to use up charms or scraps cut into 5 inch squares.
