Love your quilt. Looks like the same pattern to me.
Thanks so much Mary

Mary, I made a quilt like this years ago. I used the braid template made by EZ Quilting. The instructions sheet that came with the template had this quilt called Picket Fence Star. When I googled it, the only info I found was another post on this board.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...y-t106660.html The instructions I have say to place a light piece in the upper right and lower left corners of each quarter of the block. I am attaching a pic of my quilt. See if that helps you Georgia |
Very nice pattern, looks like a great one for scraps!

And here is another version. Been trying to trace it with no luck. Does not look like Bonnie Hunters Star Struck. I was able to 'break down the square' to figure it out. Four blocks of three 2 1/2" strips sewn together. Each 3 strip block is twisted to form the pinwheel. Have seen this several times in different colorings.

I do not know the source of these photos, but found them in my files. The quilter was nice enough to include the measurements of the pieces. It would be a very nice scrappy! |
