I am new to forum. I've been looking everywhere for two patterns and I am hoping someone out there might have them. One is the Irish Cabin and the other one is the Savanna Star. The Savanna Star pattern was published in the Kansas City Star newspaper back in the 1930-s or 40's. The Irish Cabin is like the triple Irish Chain but with more 'chains'.

Here's the Irish Chain

Thanks for help but neither of the patterns are the ones I am looking for. I have the triple Irish Chain. the Irish cabin is more like a double or triple triple .Irish Chain. I don't know how else to describe it.

Try this...it's down quite a ways on the page, but it's clearly called an Irish Cabin:

Welcome. Eleanor Burns has a very good book on Irish Chain and you can check out www.quilter'scache.com for the star pattern.
Good Luck. Pam |
Both of these are interesting patterns. Thanks for asking.
