I am looking for a cute name badge holder to make to wear at the Houston Quilt Festival, and possibly hold a little notebook and pen. Does anyone have a pattern for such a thing?

Thank you : )

I googled "quilted name badge holder" and came up with a lot of listings, but this was my favorite, hope you like it too:

I take foil candy bar wrapers sew them together and make a small bag with a pocket for the badge on the front and wear it like a neckles. or make a mimi quilt "bag".

Here is a free pattern from Sulky. It uses machine embroidery but I am sure you could substitute a mini block or decorate with quilt pins or.....

I am looking for ideas on making a quilted name tag that is not as large as my chest. Do you have any suggestions on how to reduce the size so that you can not see me coming a mile away LOL.

If you have one of the plastic pin on name tags from a previous show, why not frame it with fabric. Just sew scraps into strips and surround it.
