Looking for the sewer of this quilt and advice on how much fabric for a full.

I saved this pic way back as an example of what I would like to make for my grandaughter Emma and do not know who made it. Emma loves pink but prefers a butterfly in the center. I also machine emboider so could add her name on and perhaps embroider the butterfly. Also it would be a full size quilt which is larger than the photo one. How much of each border fabric would I need.I was thinking to have a similar number of borders. What kind of batting is best for Northwest temperatures

4 butterflies would make this larger without quilt being all borders. You could also add a 'border' of nine patches or pinwheels.

Thanks for the tips.I am a novice quilter so would be keeping it pretty simple.:)
