I am planning on doing the trip around the world, but would like to see the colors on a graph so I'd know if they were what I'd like and site on the internet where I can get one free. Thanks Your all so helpful.

I'm not sure what type of color wheel or chart you're needing, but click on the link below for one type, and if it doesn't meet your needs, you can find many, many more by simply googling "color wheel charts." Hope this helps. :)

I'm looking for blank graph paper that would have the trip around the world empty blocks so one could color it in as to the colors one would like. I have tried googling, but maybe I'm not saying the right thing.

Oh, ok. Now I see what you're getting at. :) I'll try googling too and see if I can come up with anything.

I searched several sites and typed in different requests, but didn't come up with a blank graph of any kind for that block.

You may have to simply use regular graph paper and color in your blanks there to see if your color scheme will work for you. I've often done this when working with a pattern and not knowing what exactly I want to do with it. Decide how many fabrics/colors you want to work with and color in some squares or even just color in 1" strips in as many colors as you want to use to see how they look against each other. Then go to your stash/store with that info and start pulling fabrics to audition in those positions.

I sure wish I could have been more help kasapa. I'd love to see what you wind up doing with this pattern. :)

I make my own grid paper by using the Table feature in Word. Sometimes I do big squares to experiment with a block layout (4 rows 4 columns). Sometimes I do however many rows and columbs there will be blocks in the quilt. The last one I did was 21 rows, 21 columns. Once you get the table made, you can play around with the font size or just enter until the squares look square or go into the properties of the table and set the column width and row height. You can even go into each square and use the fill property and add color on the computer, but I think it's faster to use my colored pencils. I have grids from 3 x 3 all the way up to 21 x 21. I just go into the file and print off the page of the grid I want. Good luck finding what you're looking for.

MS Word / table/ columns / rows works...as would MS Excel.

Start a new Word document
From the Menu Bar select Table
Table => Insert Table => Table Size (number of rows & columns)

The new table appears as a grid

Select the cell(s) you want to fill with color (i.e. format).

From the Menu Bar select Format
Format =>Borders and Shading
Click on the Shading tab; several colors appear.

Select whichever appeals and click OK.

If you want more color options(nearly infinite number), return to the Shading tab and click on the "More Colors" button located below and to the right of the color grid.

Select the color you want, click OK and that takes you back to your table.

"Repeat as necessary".
