My 21-year old granddaughter recently moved into her own apartment, and I promised to make her a quilt. I found a GORGEOUS pattern--it had a neutral background, and big, ragged-edge roses appliqued on each block--each one different. We chose some absolutely beautiful, feminine, pastel fabrics for it--and now that I am finally ready to begin, I have lost the pattern! I bought it while on a "shop hop" in Missouri, and can't remember the name of the shop. (I live in Alabama.) Does this pattern sound familiar to any of you?

did you visit more than 1 shop in Missouri, maybe you can find the name of the shop, (what town) so I can help you find the name and phone # of the shop so you can call them and ask about the pattern

Yes, we visited eleven of them! This one was a great shop, way out in the middle of nowhere. I think it was close to Columbia. The owner's daughter is a quilt designer--something with "Pink" in the name.

Dear Crafty Bear: The town was Stuartsville, and the name of the shop was "The Quilt Shoppe"--imagine that! A friend who went with me had the information, and the quilt-designing daughter's name is Tula Pink! Another wonderful QB member had the name of the pattern, so now I can re-order. Thanks, everyone!

I was browsing through some of my quilt magazines and this pattern or one like it was in one. I think it was made from Amy Butler fabric. Sure looks the same as the French Roses pattern.

Which magazine was it, do you remember? I have ordered another pattern, but I'd really like to see this one, too--might like it even better!
