About 15 years ago a very dear lady friend passed away from cancer. When her husband was going through her "stuff" he came across a roll of fabric. My friend worked at a custom drapery store, making the draperies, and was aloud to purchase fabric that had been ordered but wasn't going to be used. This particular roll of fabric was a white linen.

When I got the roll it must have had 25 to 30 yards of fabric on it. I have since used some and so I'm down to about 10 yards or so. My problem is, I don't have alot of room in my current work space for alot of fabric storage. I am currently purging what I know I won't use and washing/ironing what I am keeping.

This linen is a keeper but I'm not sure how to go about "storing" it. I don't really have the room for a "bolt" like you get from the fabric stores and I really don't want to cut it into smaller pieces (I do have some already cut off - must have been for a project that I have forgotten about). Any ideas would be helpful.

Thank you,
Wanda

I wrapped mine in a tablecloth and taped it well then stored it in a closet. I get it out as I need some. I get huge bolts of batting and muslin for Project Linus and do this also. Works well for me. Those cheap walmart tablecloths with flannel work great. Hope this works for you. ♥

Thank you Debbie. I like this I have a couple of the table cloths here so I will give it a try.

Yes it is and I'm still finding pieces of it. I have a couple of projects that I know I will use some of the pieces on.
