Has anyone used the low fat quilting method in Marti Mitchel's quilting in sections book? I usually do QAYG but that system is very limiting to the style of quilt I make.

i have not used it nor heard of it. i just googled it. this is so strange, because i either dreamed about it or thought about the method last night or yesterday. weird

Dividing the batting to make quilting easier has been around for quite awhile. I first ran across this method in one of Debra Wagner's books. I haven't seen Marti Michel's book to see if the steps are exactly the same.
