I was at my LQS to get some backing because I got an e-mail that they had Stonehenge wide width on sale and I knew I wanted it for the quilt I'm making. Well ... we all know that we can't waltz in, grab the single bolt that we know we want, cut it, and walk out. No way. We HAVE to browse.

So I browsed.

I was fingering a lovely Henry Glass print of large Hydrangia's on a black background thinking how well suited it would be to OBW. Chris (LQS manager) walks up and says "isn't that gorgeous". I replied that I already had two nice fabrics at home waiting to be made into OBW so I didn't *need* it.

Chris summed it up perfectly.

"Since when was it about *need*."

The funny part ... I walked away from it, she cut 5 yards for herself!!! I asked her if I would get a commission from that sale :)
