I haven't used one but I am going to use one on my next project. Is it easier? or does the hoop get in the way? Is it more of a hassle then helpful?

Hi no I don't use a hoop to machine quilt on the sewing machine. You can though, if you are doing some fancy embroidery stitches. I mostly pin with quilter's pins and go for it. Sometimes I still baste but not often. But when using the grace table, it is way different again. LOL!
I bet utube has some videos on this subject so you can see it done. I know that american patchwork had some there. Let me look for it for you.

I just spray baste and quilt. No hoop. It would just get in my way.

Thanks! I like how that machine works. That would be so much easier to do designs...

Hi Hon,
There is one there with a regular sewing machine. I am pretty sure it is called machine quilting.
