I've come to believe that my migraines are caused by eye strain. I just ordered a larger computer monitor and I'm researching magnifiers for my sewing machine. The biggest one is called C.C. Bigger that clamps to your machine. Then there's MagniStitch with adhesvie to stick to the machine and another gooseneck thing that clamps to the front of the table. anybody with experience with these magnifiers? Do they really not interfere with sewing, esp FMQ?

I was wondering the same thing. I hope someone has one and let's us know.

I tried the one with adhesive. It was great for a month or so and then it kept falling off. I mainly used it for threading the needle and finer work. It was nice while it lasted. I have to get more adhesive.

I dont have one of these but my husband picked me up a lamp into staples that has a magnifier in it and I put it over the top of my sewing machine and it works great

I have decided to buy a desk-clamp magnifying ott-type light (off brand, a "daylight"). I hope it's ok. The magnifier is rimless. I needed a new light anyway, so maybe that's all that was required.
