I saw a mariners compass that was not paper pieced, the points were folded, I'd like to find the pattern. Any one know what I'm talking about?

Sounds like a Cheryl Phillips /WedgeWorks pattern - the 3D Mariners Compass using her folded fabric technique.
One of her books: http://www.amazon.com/WedgeWorks-II-.../dp/0967789419 And a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mhmG6W-O5c with some very lively music showing how the 3D effect is created. And here's her website: http://www.phillipsfiberart.com/ |

Do keep in mind that the book does include the set of templates.
I just put one link in above for the 1999 book. However, her earlier book (1997) - which also includes a template - http://www.amazon.com/WedgeWorks-Che...5893502&sr=8-7 is much more reasonable, if you're still interested. ;-) |
Thank you for the information this will take some time to think over.

Keep on eye on the sales here.
Just like some people don't know when they're overpaying, others don't know or realize the value of what they're selling. ;-) |
