MY ME ....................It is a lot easier to trim down the squares than to have to start over and make all new ones in case the seams are a little off and the squares are too small,

Wow... I'm so glad I read this thread... when I saw "Math" I just had to; the numbers always rattle around in my head!! LOVE the suggestion to make a little bigger and trim down!! And MTS, the pic helps, too!! THANKS EVERYONE!!!
