I have made and quilted the centre medallion of a king size quilt. I have lost the pattern and need some imput into how to put borders etc around to the correct size.
Centre is24 inch square.

Can you let us know how wide each of the borders are so that we can help you? :D:D:D

I don't know how to add borders if the center is already quilted.

You can put any width border(s) that is pleasing to you.

Heres a shot in the dark, what I might try if the center is quilted, make boarder say 5-6 inches to accient, sandwich, in order backing , medalion, batting, accinet color or boarder. sew left, right, top, bottom, or whatever order you want then quilt this, repeat this process till it is the size you want, some boarders could be fancier etc.
Sure hope that made since, like quilt as you go w/strips but around and around.

Un able to give size of borders as I have not done them. Only have the medallion centre and all the fabrics.
I made a line of flying geese no particular size or length that will fit. around.
:oops: I'm so angrey with myself loosing the pattern.

Can you show us a picture of the medallion. That might help. Someone else might just have the pattern or the name of it and you could get another pattern.
