The other day I was in JA's minding my own business looking at patterns for VBS costumes and this lady comes over talking about a hat some lady gave her to help keep the sweat off her brow. She takes off the hat and starts to fan herself. Boy, does that look familiar. Anyway, we start talking and I get out a piece of paper to write down this boards addy for her and to write down an addy she told me and low and behold it's wichypoo! We had a great conversation. She sure is a happy vivacious person. Really funny. Told me all about the quilt she just dropped off to have quilted. She said it is her avatar pic quilt. Anyway, good to meet her and hope to see her at the State Fair or the quilt show in late August at the Armory.

That is so cool. I have a very close friend who I met on a gardening board! She works the Pacific Northwest Garden show every year and I go for my birthday, so we meet for lunch and giggles. She only lives about 20 to 25 mins away and her twin girls are the same age as my oldest son and my daughter idolizes them, so it works out. I am looking forward to meeting some new friends from the board in our area.
