I have a question. When making a real minture quilt , what size would you make the hexagons for a Grandmother's Flower Garden? Another thing, Do any of you have ideas about miniture quilt patterns? I heard they should be according to scale of the regular quilt patterns.

I have seen papers for these in the LQS that were only 1/2" across LOL How small would YOU like to go? :D:D:D

My friend makes a lot of minatures. Her finished block size is a maximum of 1.25".

Personally, I'm very happy being on the receiving side of the miniatures ... I have made my first miniature and my last miniature ... they just happen to be the same quilt! LOL

I have made lots and the size I always pick with the size of the end project. Really small would require really small blocks. A one inch block is small when it comes to piecing it.

I've always been so fascinated by the mini's. I hope to make some soon. =)
