I'm making a shower gift quilt for my goddaughter who's having a girl in August. I'm planning on backing it with minky. I've never sewed with it before. Any tips or advice for me?

When cutting keep a lint (dog hair) picker-upper on your cutting table. It does make a mess. :D

I've never used this before. So I'm glad to find out about it also.

It's slippy, stretchy and linty. BUT I used basting spray and no pins and didn't have a problem AT ALL with it. Just make sure you don't stretch it when you're sandwiching your quilt. Dust out your machine more often, it is really super linty. If it's dot minky, DON'T IRON IT. You'll flatten the dots, permanently.
