Mug Rugs
 

Is there a specific size for mug rugs? If not, what sizes do you make or what is the most common size?

Most commonly rectangular, from 4" x 6" to 6" x 10" or so, but you could do square or circular or hexagonal or octagonal, whatever works for you.

Just whatever you like unless you are in a swap. You can use coaster size, some people like them 6/10 so they can rest their cup and treat both on them.

Love those mug rugs! Let your imagination be your guide.

I prefer 4" round.

If for yourself think where you will use them and make a size that would be appropriate. It is your projecdt!

Final size is up to you. Do you have a treat also? Perhaps about 6x8 to 8x10, or somewhere around that. :)

i usually work for a size of about 7" x 9" but i have seen them in many sizes, smaller and larger. look up links on this board there are many mug rug ideas to look at. here are some i made for the feb secret pal swap. they are about 8x9.

I have made MANY. I kind of winged it but they ended up being big enough to set 2 mugs on or a mug and a snack. Seems to work ok, everyone loves them.
