I am so excited, I received my first ever darning foot today. My walking foot should be here soon. Now all I have to do is get my sewing room back in order and I can try out my new feet. I have been reading up on FMQ, and I think I can do it. It looks like a blast to do, I am going to make a 12" quilt block and FMQ it and see.

Have fun with them. I love FMQ. Hope you do too.

are you going to wear gloves or some other method to move the fabric? If you need gloves check the gardening section for a pair with the little rubber dots on them. They work the same as the quilters gloves but are $$ cheaper.

hmm, I wonder how many other chat groups would be excited about acquiring new feet?

Enjoy. :)

I have a pair of Mechanics gloves, they have a non skid surface on the fingers. And in case your wondering I do have two pairs, the greasy ones live in the garage.

That's what I did but hated to take them on and off to thread the needles ect. so I snipped of the tip of the index finger on the right hand.
