My Goodness! Never Thought of it Before
1 Attachment(s)
I've been quilting for 2 1/2 decades and never thought of this before. As some of you have seen, I write my quilt labels on a piece of fabric and then sew them on. I have a tendency to put a lot of information on them. I always had to guess where to start writing in order to have some of the edge to turn under. Last night I was working on several and wishing I'd turned them under and ironed them so they would stay. This morning I did just that, to some that have not been written yet. Now, I do not have to guess. Why did it take so long?

Just shows even veteran quilters can still come up with great ideas!

thanks for the tip

Sometimes the idea just 'clicks' regardless of how long we've been doing something! One of those ah-ha moments. Gotta love 'em.

Always innovated. I like your labels.

Every day one should learn something new!........

I have been sewing for 60 years and quilting for 40. I am amazed and thrilled that I continue to learn things (usually that make things much easier). And a great many of those things come from this site!!!!!! Thanks to all of you.

I'm a long time quilter and I learn new things at least once or twice a month. Some are things that should have been obvious but I tend to stick with what works. Your tip about the labels is much appreciated. Quilters are some of the most generous folks on the planet.
