Got my new Tin Lizzie 18 DLS up and running. Once I figured out how to put the quilt on the frame - it made sense. Much smoother than how my old Tin Lizzie had the quilt put on the frame. I practiced on some feathers and they don't look too bad. May do them on the quilt I have ready. Going to love using it!

Awesome!!! Enjoy your new toy.
Will be awaiting to see some of your feathers!!! One day.... I hope to have a LA. Happy quilting. |
Ruby, I have the oldie but goodie. How is the new one different and better? Is it smoother, quieter, lighter? I haven't ever seen the new ones, you must like it or you wouldn't have bought it.

That's great. Can't wait to see some of your work.

Enjoy !!
Be sure to post pictues for all to see !! |
Mary - it is quieter, and I feel like I have better control both with the Lizzie stitch and when it's on manual. The quilt goes on much better on the new frame. Probably weighs the same. The interesting thing is the DVD that comes with it says you can put the bobbin in clockwise or counter clock wise doesn't make any difference just always do it the same.
I'm going to put a quilt on tomorrow and hope to finish it. Ruby the Quilter |
congrats on your new machine. very interesting about the bobbin!
