Though I've firgured out how to construct this quilt I'd like to see the original pattern instructions to determine the fabric yardage to get the lovely gradual blend.
Thanks

00It's just strip pieced squares on point or strip pieced triangles cut with a 90 deg ruler with the 90 deg point on top alternating with bottom. Yardage would depend on the size of the quilt you're making, and the size of the blocks, and the width of the strips. I'd probably offset the strips before cutting, so there wouldn't be as much waste. It looks like 2 sets of colored triangles, with 4.5 triangles of dark on the sides, and 11 light triangles in the middle, from top to bottom it looks like 3 dark triangle, 11 light triangles, then presumably 3 dark triangles. Once you're sure of the counts, it can be calculated.

It's lovely. if all else fails you could do a search in Images for strip tube quilt set on point and look for that one. Good luck.

It looks to me like a smaller-block version of Transitions (or perhaps a King size version of the same pattern):

Here's you a link to the pattern - it's from the Hoffman site - and they state "Quilt Design by Daniela Stout of CozyQuilt.com ...

I actually made this quilt last year, but wasn't happy with what I was seeing so ended up rotating the blocks for a totally different effect. (Used Blacks and Whites)

Good Luck!

You all just amaze me with your detective work. Ask a question, and bingo. In a few minutes the answer. Totally awesome and so appreciated.
