Being I a,m still kind of a newbe here, what way can I put my name on my blocks? write it with a pen, I am not good at embroidery, so what is a good way to do this?

If you're going to write with a pen, you should use a Pigma pen rather than a Sharpie or other permanent pen. Pigma pens are meant to be used on fabric.

ok! a pigmy pen then? I will look for one. again thanks!
|
ooopppps! pigma pen! hehehe, fingers going faster than the brain!
would that be something like the old clothes marker? |
If these blocks are for a block swap, look at the general instructions for the swap you are involved in. Some require that you sign the blocks and some require that you just attach a removable label to your blocks.

There are some pens that I found recently, ZIG. You can find them in the scrapbooking section at JoAnn's. They have a ballpoint on them and are very easy to write on material with. Found them easier than the Pigma's, as the Pigma has a very fine point and I always catch threads when I'm writing.

ok I will see if I can find either of them today. thanks for the advice ladies.
