I took a picture of this quilt, but didn't write down the name. Help! please, I would like to make it using scraps, but can't seem to find it anywhere.

I don't know but when you find out, please tell us. It looks like it would be a great way to use up scraps!

I have a version of this pattern called Two of a Kind.

(The name comes from the fact that designer Rachel Shelburne did this pattern using a variety of batiks, and her mother Darlene Zimmerman did the same quilt in her signature 1930's retro prints.)
A lap size quilt can be made with 10 FQ's and just over a yard of a background material (before borders).

This is in American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine, April 2008.

Looks like a nice fairly easy pattern. Sorry, I do not know the name.

can the "card trick" pattern be used instead? it is close.

The description reads "using the same pattern reminiscent of a Card Trick block, a mother-and-daughter design team created two quilts that reflect their individual styles."

from the pattern I have, the quilt is made in diagonal rows of rectangles, not horizontal rows of squares.

I am going to follow this thread too. I would like to know the name of this pattern. I will also see if I have the American Patchwork and quilting April 2008, Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone, I will try to find the American Patchwork. The scrap idea is why I'm looking for it. I have lots of scraps.

I found it on All People Quilt color options. It's #16, two of a kind color option. Thanks again for your help, having a name made it easier to look. Hope now I can finish it.
