My DH and I just returned home from vacation. It was his suggestion that we stop at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah on our way home. It was worth the wait!!! The quilts were amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it! Then we stopped at Hancocks of Paducah. The ladies there were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I petted my fabric the rest of the way home.

Glad you got to see all of the pretty quilts, and got some new fabric for your stash!

If you get a chance to go to the museum in Paducah, it is worth it just for the stained glass quilt windows!!

Someday I would love to go. I'm glad you had such a wonderful time.

The windows were beautiful!! I really enjoyed my time there. My DH is a keeper for suggesting that we go there.

My husband took me to the museum about 10 years ago for the first time. I was a surprise weekend trip. I was amazed and so was he. He really was fascinated with the quilts on display. Since then, I go every year with my daughters to the quilt show. It has become our "yearly vacation". My husband has a "deer hunting vacation" with our sons so me and the girls go "quilting". However, he always offers to go if one of the girls can't. So far, he hasn't gotten to go because the girls always do.
