The 11th Annual Nebraska Shop Hop starts tomorrow (31st) and runs through April 10th. Is anyone else planning to participate?

I have never been to a shop hop before, this will be my first. My DH is definitely a keeper! He insisted that we go, and that we hit every shop possible. Weeee! We are packing up the 5th wheel today and will be heading out in the morning for ten fabulous days of camping and shopping. We are even going way out west to visit those shops before we head south and east.

Is there a method to your shopping madness when you go to these events? I'm not a big buy it in advance type person so I'm stressing over whether I should somehow come up with a plan or not.

You will have a great time and what a wonderful trip to share with your DH. I went on my first statewide shop hop last year in MN with a friend and SIL and we had a ball. I did not have a plan for anything per se, but found some wonderful, beautiful fabric I had not seen here and created some fun quilts. I also found fabric that filled in what I need for already in progress quilts. My recommendation is to relax, browse, enjoy and share your pics with us when you return. Enjoy the adventure!!

I'm gathering up some stuff I want to match up and will also plan one more quilt to add to my to-do pile.

The shops are each giving away one charm when you visit, I have one for 2011 shop hop that came with the bag you have to purchase to participate and today I visited the shop in the next town over while getting groceries and got an apple charm. The store owners last name is Applebaum. Cute!
