Need help with binding

How do you deal with corners? I sew my binding to the front of the quilt and then flip it over and hand sew the binding, which goes well, however when I get to the corners the back has a nice mitered corner but the fron looks lumpy! How do you all do it to get a nice smooth finish on the top??

are you stopping a 1/4" from the end before you turn the corner when machine stitching?

Could you post a picture of your binding so we could see what it looks like?

you just have to take your time and I find that starched bindings help a lot when it comes to getting everything to fit and lay nicely.

If you can't find a tip use an ink pen tip from an old ink pen.Works just fine . I use a toothpick to plug it
