Need help finding the name of a pattern

Ok ladies I know someone will be able to help me out on this. I am looking for the name of a shadow pattern.....I found one but it had too many squares and they were all in a row. the quilt I saw has the squares kinda scattered not in a row. Not sure if I have explained well enough....sorry

Thanks for any help you can give me on finding this pattern.

Maybe you're thinking of the Shadow Box pattern?

The shadow box in my"Country Quilts in a Day" by Fran Roen is totally diff than the one at the site above. Roen's is squares..each is made up of a solid triangle and a triangle of strips--using 5 fabrics total. It uses the 'speed technique' of cutting the triangles from the 4 strips sewn together...and sewing to dark solid triangles. Very pretty. I could scan a pix, but not sure I could upload it! lol
