I'm about to start quilting a 5" border and the quilting pattern I want to use is for a 7" border. Do any of you have one of those dohickies that you dial the two sizes on and it tells you the percentage to reduce the pattern? I'm sure I learned how to do this "manually" in math class, but that was a very long time ago!

These are for blocks, but I would think it might be the same.

Thank you! I was thinking 20% and I was wrong!

divide 5 by 7 = approximately .714

try setting the copier at 71% or 72%

The chart is correct then, because it said 71%. That is great to know!

Just got back from Kinko's -- they reduced it by 30% and it's perfect. Thank you Sadiemae and Bearisgray!
