I am having a hard time trying to figure out a small sewing project for all the men in our family. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Many years ago DH had me make a bag to hold the jumper cables in our car. One trick: he wanted something that wouldn't move around in the trunk. I made a fitted bag and sewed a couple of strips of heavy duty velcro (prickly side) on one side. Worked great. It's really a big deal now that we have a van. One less thing to worry about getting under foot or flying around when the brakes are applied. Good luck. - Shirley

Pretty much everyone got neck/back warmers from me last year too. I used flax seed (from the feed store) for filling; I like it a little better than rice.

I thought this one would be good for my son and his new car, too. |
I foundsome inexpensive, butnice heavy fleece at Walmart, and I am making some double fleece scarves. DS and all his friends snow mobile, so it will keep them really warm. Also pillow cases, andfor DD and her BF I am making a flannel and Bluejean quilt, to snuggle on couch!
