Hi, My niece is turning 21 next month. I think that is a real milestone and I would like to give her something special. Naturally, I was thinking of a quilt... She does not have one as of yet. But, I want the pattern (or at least whatever I name the quilt) to be symbolic to her turning 21. Any ideas? :?: I have been searching and searching but nothing is really speaking out to me yet.... Would appreciate any and all suggestions. TIA

You could do a turning 20 pattern but use 21 fabrics instead. you'd have left over pieces and I don't know how it would look, but that's all I can think of

That's the first thing I thought of - Turning Twenty plus One.

Do the turning 20 + one block on the back as the label.
My Mom was a cake decorator so on my 21st Bday she made me a cake with pink elephants and it had a bottle of vodka stuck in the middle...if she doesn't drink then this wouldn't be such a good idea. Better idea to stick with the quilt. I don't drink or mean to encourage drinking at any age. crafty_linda_b |
