What about a Turning Twenty or Yellow Brick Road??? Easy and no symmetry! You can use as many or as few colors as you wish.

There is a picture of a disappearing 9 patch in the picture section today that might be what you are looking for. It's beautiful.

What an easy and versatile block! This one is definitely going into my binder of easy patterns for Prayers and Squares quilts! Thanks!

I am planning to make my daughter a quilt in her sorority colors of green, red, and yellow, with white. I have collected varying shades of batiks in these colors, but I haven't found the perfect pattern yet. I'd like something that feels young but not too modern (no asymmetry or anything like that). Ideas?

you're right. It's a 3 color quilt. White isn't a color...it's a negitive. Just like black and grey.

Love that Christmas tree quilt - and can picture it in all sorts of different colours! Thanks :-)
