a friend gave me some rolled up fusible that was two sided you could iron it on to your fabric then cut out your applique and then iron that to the quilt block. Could some one tell me what that is called. Or if you can buy it that way and where to get it . ty so much. Tommye

It is called Fusible web. Some are a light fusible others are heavy. Heat and Bond, Misty Fuse and Steam a Seam are 3 brands off of the top of my head :D:D:D

I use the Heat and Bond a lot!

I like the SoftFuse the best of the ones I've tried. It is very light weight and supple after fusing.

I use Pellon Wonder Under, and it is barely noticeable in your project, I myself haven't hear of Soft Fuse yet, maybe it's a new one that's just recenlty available.

Heat and Bond LIGHT isn't too bad but the ULTRA is really stiff. Wonder Under and Soft Fuse are best to use in quilts. Heat and Bond is available at Joanns and Walmart, Wonder Under and Soft Fuse are available at Joanns, Hancocks, and most LQSs.

I like the Pellon one that is paper backed. I always mess up the one that has no paper and iron it to iron or board. LOL
