I would go to the library and see if they have any Christmas quilts books and you will probably find one.

google "coloring pages" and look in the "line art" also

Look at coloring books or find a cookie cutter and do an applique. BUT - I have a paper pieced one that you can have if you change your mind.

Debbie Fields has an entire book about quilting the GREAT outdoors. I would google this site.....I believe it's called Granola Girl designs by Debbie Field, I do believe she has some free patterns you can print. I would check it out.

If you are looking for specific material or even a kit try : www.quiltalaska.com They have a great deal of 'wild' outdoors with designs and kits as well - they carry a line from a woman who lives in Sitka (no, not Sarah Palin) and is a retired engineer and not only designs quilts, but also fabric. this is quality fabric that I haven't found anywhere else. . . . just another thought
I am currently 'involved' with a wolf quilt . . and others as well
