fussy cut the animals, framing like a snowball and maybe alternate with four patches or nine patches of coordinating colors?

A d9p would be cute, or what's the one with the squares and rail fence alternating that makes a cute box?

I agree. I think you can put your fussy cute squares on the outside corner of the nine patch, these are the blocks that will not be cut. Do a search here for D9P and you will have all kinds of information.
Charity’s idea is very good.

Thats really cute fabric, I would save the animal faces as much as I could. Good luck.

Warm Wishes or Snowball and 9 Patch by fussy cutting the critters. Even a single Irish chain which is a 9 patch with a square. Use the left-over bits from the main fabric in the 9 patch with a solid lavender or lilac whatever color the simple line drawn flowers or a little wilder with the hot pink accents that I see. Very simple and it will all match.

Since the print seems to be a decent sized print, you can treat it as a panel and add several borders. If I can find a picture of what I'm talking about, I'll post it.

I was thinking panel or fussy cut. That is adorable fabric!!

I would keep it as a panel and add borders or blocks around it.
