Can they be made into strips? squares? I make my string quilts using uneven odd shaped strips I end up with from evening the ends of my fabrics..perhaps some can be used that way. A lot depends on the sizes of the scraps and how much there is.

Are they big enough for Dresden plate? Or the Texas star? Pickle dish? Broken dishes? Seven sisters? Turkey tracks? Hands all around? Or maybe appliqué like Sunbonnet Sue? Grandmothers flower garden? Your choices are almost unlimited. Almost any block that was published by the Kansas City Star will look great.

there are many many scrap quilt books out there- and just as many patterns---
just do a search for scrap quilting books- or visit the pictures gallery here & search for scrap quilts for inspiration- - or just start by sorting- into colors, or values (light/medium/dark) scrap quilts are lots of fun-
log-cabin quilt blocks- pineapples, dresden plates, tumbling blocks, all are great candidates for scraps. your local library may have some scrap quilting books available.
