Try this website

It will give a very good look at the layout, and it's in quarter sections - very helpful!!

It's in pdf format, so just save it to your computer and it will open in Acrobat Reader.

This quilt needs 36 blocks each of four different blocks, all the same size:
Plain background squares, Bkgd fabric with red HST’s, Bkgd fabric with blue HST’s, and Red with blue HST’s

Of course, you will substitute the color scheme that you're using. :) If you have trouble, just put up a couple of pictures of the HST blocks you've made and I'll make a color map for you. It's really hard to figure this stuff out sometimes and even after five years, I still get "lost" in a pattern. Good luck! :)

Thepolyparrot,
Thanks so much for that visual, I'm going to have to take you up on the offer to post my blocks. I still can't figure this thing out. I don't know if it's because I'm missing something, or b/c your picture has 12 squares instead of my 8 squares across. I have to go to work but here are the pictures, and I will check later tonight when I get home.

Wanda, if using a high table, you might want to try sewing standing up. I do that with my industrial sewing all the time, as long as the flooring is not concrete, it's not hard on the back, and if you're working with bigger pieces, often easier to manoever (sp?) the fabric.

Thanks for the tip, I will try that. We have ceramic floors, and they are a bit on the "hard" side, so I will see what works best.

Hugs,
Wanda

Thank you gemmyfrog, I will see if my eyes work with me. I'm having so much trouble visualizing this. It looks so nice in my head! LOL But when I try to lay it out, oh jeepers!
Thanks again,
Wanda
