Need suggestions please

I have completed the center portion of the wall quilt for my DGS but I wasn't able to locate the coordinating print fabric that the designer used for the border. I am thinking about using the darker blue for the final 5" border using cornerstones. But what to use as cornerstones? I thought about reducing the airplanes and appliquéing those but that would take away from the center part of the quilt IMHO. Or use a bit larger pinwheels. Or would just plain no print fabric be better? Or no cornerstones used at all? Suggestions would be so appreciated. Would love to get this done. Thanks.

A darker blue border with pinwheels in the corners would be terrific!

I agree. Dark blue border with pinwheels in the corner will look great.

You could also grab one of the stars & put that in your border. But I agree that a pinwheel would work, too.

Another vote for the blue with a pinwheel in each corner! Very very cute!
