I received a" Clover desk needle threader" for Xmas. Wanted to tell you all it works!! Am going to get one for a friend and have been looking on line. Joann's has them online, but will check the store first.

I've seen those and have been wondering how they work. Couldn't quite figure it out from looking at it. Thanks for the report! Sometimes I spend more time trying to thread the needle than I do sewing...

I got the needle threader last year It is just great unless you have thicker needles like for embordery. I liked it.
I got something even neater A bobbin winder--don't you just hate when your bobbin runs out and and want to use a different color thread, instead of switching your spool on machine you just use this gadget, works great.

It came with a pack of 9 needles, of different sizes, that will last me
for a long time of hand sewing. The needle fits 'eye side' down and
then lay the thread across another part and push a lever, it brings
the thread right thru the eye in a loop, voila!!! Hope you can understand my explanation. :P

Donna, what brand bobbin winder did you get??

I'm hearing about that sidewinder bobbin winder. They only don't work with the green bobbin for the husky? My bobbin is clear plastic, a flat one. Anyone know?
thanks,
