there was a discussion about this sometime ago. I posted that I had purchased one and would give a report
I have so far used it a few times and find it works good. It has shapening stones to sharpen the blade rather than the "sandpaper" type in others. The only thing it won't do is take a nick out of the blade. I touch up the edge ab it when I find the blade begins to drag. It might be worth the $ if one uses the higher priced blade but with the low cost of the Harbor Freight blades...it might not be worth the $42.00. Overall I'm pleased with it.

Thanks for the Heads Up on that.

I tend to only "nick" a new blade, you have to love that! NOT.

Thanks for the review.

There is a new blade out now, the gold colored blade coated in titanium. Titanium is very strong so it will be hard to nick the blade and the blade will stay sharp much longer.

Never knew that there was such a thing. Will keep an eye out.

LOL, this is funny because my father-in-law was sitting across from me watching me sew, when he saw my rotary cutter, he says "Hey we got one of those" Goes on to tell me they used it to cut a bunch of paper now it won't cut fabric. he then says how he has a bench grinder and wants to see if he can sharpen it. I gave him a blank stare and said "don't you think that is like taking a sledge hammer to a finishing nail?" He says, well, not if you do it right. i will tell him about this product, he needs it! LOL!!!!
