Yes it is dark, but it still goes very well. What if you have the narrow dark inner border (like on this page) then a slightly larger light border, then the border print, and then optionally the green paisley?

It looks great the way it is. But if you were looking for a light springtime feeling then a lighter border would be better. Perhaps, as bigsis63 mentioned, changing the inner border would brighten it up.

I think that the inner purple border needs to be replaced with a green inner border and then try the paisley. I think the inner border is too dark and the tops needs some green in the border. Then I think the paisley will work.

looked back on your prev post. i think the dark border really makes the quilt pop. the current option is ok but the prev one is more vibrant. good luck. these choices are really tough and ultimately you have to do what works for you.
