I have posted my first 3 quilts, now I have a totally different question. Could someone explain paper piecing to me? I have seen & heard alot about it but have no idea what it is or creates.
TIA, Katt |
You stitch the fabric onto paper, that has the block preprinted on it.
The advantages are: You don't have to worry about bias edges stretching, You get perfect points, especially long narrow ones, and you can sew little teeny tiny pieces with ease. The paper is removed when you get ready to sandwich your quilt, it helps to stabilize your blocks and quilt top :D:D:D |

This link will give you an idea of what can be done:) I love to paper piece. |
Thanks,
Is there a tutorial on how to do it anywhere. I would like to try if for a wall hanging? TIA, Katt |
